Clearing the Air

KGTV consumer reporter turned city council candidate Marti Emerald emceed the American Lung Association Evening in the Sky at the Omni Hotel. Guests sipped on Cinnabar wines and Tommy Bahama mai tais, danced to music by Fahrenheit and entered a drawing for prizes, including a Holland America cruise. The event, chaired by Patti Lazard, honored Qualcomm director of business services Alan Ball, trial lawyer David S. Casey Jr. and Saul Garcia Huerta, Kyocera’s president of Mexican operations, for their work promoting clean-air initiatives.
